Could A Self-Driving Car Be Part Of A Future Wellness plan?
Yes, it is a beautiful idea with a great many real-life applications…right off the hood, you might say, for people living with disabilities that limit their mobility.
Wow, that is awesome! Just thinking about the use of a self-driving car for the blind or others with physical disabilities…
Well, truthfully the thought brings a tear of joy to my eyes and a big grinning smile to my face. The humanitarian aspects seem endless… but what about those of us with a mental disability? Would there be applications for driverless cars for people like me living with Bipolar Disorder? Agoraphobia? Depression? Anxiety?
I could not help to think of “murphy’s law” with this Google’s Sticky Car (for context please see Google’s Sticky Car: Is A Sticky Situation Worth A Life?)…Yes, Yes, YES, I know it is a great idea conceptually…but what if something goes wrong???
Did you know the driverless cars are road testing in California, Michigan, Florida, Nevada, Arizona, North Dakota, Tennessee, the District of Columbia, and Utah?
