At times we find it difficult or maybe even that there’s no need to use slang in a text if it’s just smaller words.
Currently, all we see is slang in text everywhere. On the Television, in adds, everywhere. Because that’s what this age has come to know.
While few of us older ones are stuck trying to figure out what it all means, don’t get me wrong…there are many of us who understand some text talk, but probably not all of it. People come up with new slang every week basically, and it’s really hard to keep up with it all. As we see now, though that many of us are starting to catch up on the slang, and even start to use it.
Sometimes it’s difficult to do or say in the text, so we get stuck trying to know if its “Laughing Out Loud” or “Lots Of Love.” But at the end of the day, we just go with what we know, huh?
Is communication using slang & smaller words being more efficient? Is text talk actually more effective?!
