After my research, I learned Zika was not new, identified since 1947 (“damned dirty apes!”) While the “associated” with of Guillain-Barré syndrome and microcephaly (catastrophic as microcephaly might happen). Does really matter to me per sa – The fact is they still are Vector-borne bugs and they do spread Zika and that is enough for me to take precautions.
